I discovered my passion for skincare while working as a Certified Medical Assistant for a Health and Wellness center. My interest in skincare deepened when introduced to microcurrent facial and body treatments by one of the onsite physicians, expanding the scope of my role. This inspired me to take a bold leap forward and pursue a career in Esthetics.

In 2013, I took that leap and enrolled into the New York Institute of Beauty as a full-time student, graduated, and became a New York State Licensed Esthetician. While gaining valuable experience at my first job with The Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, I was eager to take on new challenges and began educating my peers. I taught as a Certified Esthetics Instructor at the New York Institute of Beauty, published an article on Sensory Deprivation Therapy in Les Nouvelles Esthetique's & Spa magazine, contributed to revisions in the newest edition of Milady's Esthetics Fundamentals textbook, and instructed Esthetics for the Adult Education program at Eastern Suffolk BOCES.

On October 1, 2015, I launched my business, Esthetics with Nicole. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, I am rebranding my business this month as Potter Street Esthetics. The new name and logo pay tribute to my new location and features a Marigold, October's birth flower, as a nod to the business's launch month.

Dedication and passion have fueled my success, and I strive to inspire my students to do the same.

Put your best face forward
